My exhibition, The Bridge II, developed during the 2017 Sauerbier House residency, delved into the significance of relationships with people and places through interdisciplinary collaborations nationally and internationally in painting, film, sound, and performance. This work highlighted how the creative space between individuals fosters meaningful connections, illustrating the transformative power of the artistic process. The Bridge II also explored how art making can reshape the experience of displacement.
