The Bridge I

The Bridge I, was an installation as part of a residency at Port Noarlunga Arts Centre. It explored cultural and temporal connections by weaving together my Estonian grandmother’s fabric with cardboard, film, and recorded stories, highlighting the significance of place during my first visit to Estonia with my children. This work served as a poignant artistic bridge that honored heritage and highlighted the impact of war, immigration and shifting cultural identity.
